Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini campaigns in Panchkula for BJP mayoral and councillor candidates, highlighting a 20-point civic manifesto, governance achievements, and welfare schemes ahead of Municipal Corporation elections.
The campaign events were attended by BJP mayoral candidate Shyamlal Bansal along with senior party functionaries, reflecting the party’s consolidated push in the region. With civic elections drawing closer, political momentum in Panchkula has significantly increased, with leaders actively engaging voters on local governance and development issues.
During his address, Chief Minister Saini highlighted that the party has released a comprehensive manifesto focusing on key urban concerns. The document outlines 20 major commitments aimed at addressing civic challenges and improving infrastructure and services within the city. He emphasized that councillors and the mayor serve as a crucial link between the public and the government, ensuring that citizens’ demands are effectively communicated and addressed at the administrative level.
He further stated that the victory of BJP candidates would ensure seamless communication of public grievances to the government, thereby accelerating resolution and development. Reinforcing the party’s governance record, Saini asserted that the majority of promises made during the formation of the BJP government in Haryana have already been fulfilled.
Referring to welfare initiatives, he noted that under the Ladli Lakshmi scheme, women are receiving a monthly financial assistance of ₹2100. He also connected the local elections to the broader national vision, stating that BJP candidates are committed to realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of building a developed India.
